Membership Benefits
The SIDDC works in a unified effort to ensure the quality of life of Staten Islanders with Developmental Disabilities and their family members by engaging in the following:
Dissemination of information to the general public regarding Developmental Disabilities and the service delivery system.
Development of an Annual Plan identifying needed services and priorities.
Review proposals concerning new and continued services and recommendations for funding.
Assistance in the implementation of new programs and the refinement in existing ones.
Coordination with other Borough Councils and city and statewide committees to promote supports and services.
Provide a forum for sharing information and concerns.
Advocating and participating in the development of a comprehensive plan for the future use of the Willowbrook property.
